I saw a video with this song and them and I had to do it

Kate paused before knocking at Alexis' door.
"Come in" Alexis called from inside. Kate pushed it open and the teen glanced up.
"Hey, I brought ice cream." Kate said with a small smile.
"Thanks" Alexis said taking the bowl from her mother.
"You alright?" Kate asked, knowing all to well what Alexis was going threw. Alexis shook her head as she let the tears fall. Kate's heart broke seeing Alexis hurt like this, she sat on the bed next to her and wrapped her tightly in her arms.
"I miss him so much." Alexis sobbed into Kate's shoulder as Kate rubbed her back.
"So do I sweetie" Kate whispered trying not to cry.
"What am I supposed to do?" Alexis asked as Kate leaned herself up against the pillow.
"You don't let it destroy you, no matter how much it hurts. You find the good and you enjoy the memories you have." Kate said wiping away a tear as it fell.
"I don't know if I can." Alexis said glancing up at her.
"I know it seams hard but we'll get threw this together." Kate said as Alexis laid her head on her shoulder.
"I love you mom" Alexis said quietly, Kate choked back a sob.
"I love you too Alexis" Kate replied kissing the top of her head.
"Mommy" A quite voice said in the doorway, Kate looked over to see her three year old daughter standing in the doorway with her tattered stuffed monkey.
"Yeah baby" Kat said swallowing hard.
"I can't sleep." She said in a tired voice.
"Come here sweet pea." Alexis said sitting up, spreading her arms out for her little sister.
"Is this a nightly thing for you and Emma?" Kate asked watched her youngest climb into Alexis' bed.
"No, but under the cerc.."
"It's fine Alexis, she adores you." Kate said as Emma crawled between them.
Her small fingers gripped Kate's T-shirt as she closed her eyes.
"Can you stay mom?" Alexis asked looking at Kate who only nodded. Alexis looked down at Emma before closing her eyes.
Rick and Johanna stood in the doorway watching the bittersweet moment between the Castle girls. Johanna smiled meakly as she watched her daughter and granddaughters fall asleep, she glanced over to Rick who was getting teary eyed watching the women he loved so broken yet so strong. He would give anything to take back the events that had taken him away. Johanna took his hand and gave it a small squeeze.
"Time to go Rick" She said quietly.
"Can I touch her before we go?" He asked, Johanna nodded letting go of his hand.
Rick walked over to the bed and bent down running his hand along both his daughters cheeks then leaned down to place a soft kiss on Kate's forehead.
"Always' He whispered. into her ear.
Johanna placed her hand on his shoulder, he nodded slowly knowing what he had to do.
"Will I get to see them again."
"Whenever you like." Johanna said smiling down at her daughter.
"Good, there's a lot I don't want to miss." He said glancing down at his wife's swollen stomach. Johanna led him beck to the doorway, he glanced over his shoulder to see Kate's eyes open just as he disappeared.
 
A/U; So basically Rick is dead and Kate and Alexis are trying to deal with it while also helping Emma understand why her daddy isn't there and preparing for a new arrival. I hope you like it!!!
